Liz and Pete

Liz and Pete got married at Prospect Park in Brooklyn on New Year’s Eve. Although it was cold, their outdoor winter ceremony was filled with an abundance of warmth and light. The park has been a huge part of their relationship and it only made sense for them to get married there. Filled with lots of dancing, gorgeous shiny dresses, a disco ball, and fireworks, this was certainly a New Year’s Eve no one will ever forget!

Julie and Robert

I had the pleasure to do engagement pictures for this wonderful couple last week! Julie and Robert are both fourth years at New College who will be graduating in the fall. Julie is a Psychology major with a Spanish minor and Robert is a Psychics and Chemistry double major! These two love the beach, hiking and their two cats. (We all know I favor cat lovers over all other humans). We walked around New College and the Ringling museum grounds and had a pretty fantastic time working together. Congrats you two!

Whitney and Kyle

Whitney and Kyle’s beautiful Siesta Key wedding was very close to my heart. Whitney and I attended school together over ten years ago. When she asked me to photograph their wedding my heart dropped! They got married at the Sunset Beach Resort on the most perfect November day. I probably cried almost every time Whitney did. Grateful for this dream wedding!

Jose and Zuly

Zuly is a 4th year PhD student in science. She studies study viruses and is a bit of a nerd who loves to craft. Jose is a musician who now works with juveniles in the justice system. He writes his own music and plays in a band! These two ambitious lovers got married at the gorgeous Dumbo Loft in Brooklyn, NY. It may have been cold and snowing outside but inside there was nothing but love and warmth. So thankful to have been able to document this day!

Dana and Cameron

Dana and Cameron got married at The Lake Club in Lakewood Ranch. Their gorgeous and elegant wedding was filled with romantic music, touching toasts and perfect details!

Annika and Michael

Annika and Michael are a young and inspiring couple. At the age of 21 they are both far advanced in their studies, own a house and have set plans for the rest of their lives. These lovebirds got married on a beautiful, lush property in Sarasota. The entire day was filled with perfect weather, lots of close friends and family members, games, dancing, southern barbecue and LOVE. Good luck you two, the sky is the limit!

Cari and Joseph

Cari and Joseph wanted a simple and very intimate elopement to tie the knot. These two SURPRISED everyone, as only a select few knew what was going on. They all met at the beautiful library in Winchester, VA. The ceremony began with a beautiful song by Cari's sister and ended with a lovely and special ceremony. So glad I got to be a part of this surprise.

Michael and Sara

Pretty much obsessed with these two. Shooting them was total breeze, as they are very obviously connected to each other. I can't wait till the big day in September!

Andy and Patrick

Loved this rainy engagement session in Pittsburgh. These two creatives met unexpectedly but connected instantly. I can't wait for your wedding!

Bryant and Lisa

Bryant and Lisa got married at the Grant-Humphreys Mansion in Denver, Colorado. These two are adventurers who love live music, traveling and being around their loved ones. Their big wedding was filled with family and friends! Congrats, you two!

Andrew and Sara

Andrew and Sara got married at the Howard County Conservancy in Woodstock, Maryland. This venue was absolutely amazing, located on a 232-acre farm that is 300 years old. I knew I would love working with them as soon as they told me they wanted some untraditional portraits AND that they loved their cat just as much as we love ours. The wedding was intimate, beautiful, and surrounded by their amazing friends and family. Thankful to have been a part of this wonderful day.

Sarah and James

Sarah and James got married on the 17th of September at the breathtaking Plymouth church in Brooklyn Heights. These two had such a wonderful and bright energy which is abundantly clear when looking at their images! Their funny and easy going characters were so much fun to capture. Both families blended so well together I honestly couldn’t tell them apart. Thankful for a day of love, laughter and PERFECT weather. Congrats you two!

Lauren and Jesse

Lauren and Jesse are the kind of people who make everyone else around them laugh and smile. The second I met Lauren great music was playing in the room and I knew it was going to be a fun day! She’s outspoken, funny and has a personality to be reckoned with. Jesse had a mischievous smile and after his family’s speeches I knew exactly why.

They got married the same weekend they got together three years ago! Their ceremony was at the Old Angler’s Inn which is an absolutely stunning venue in the gorgeous Potomac, Maryland. The weather was perfect and so was this day. So glad I got to be a small part of this glorious wedding.

Yuki and Jacob

Yuki and Jacob are both artists and filmmakers who met and fell in love during their time in film school in LA. Although she herself was born in the small village of Hamilton, New York, Yuki’s family originally is from Japan. Jacob is a native of Denmark who moved here for his studies. This wedding was such an interesting and beautiful blend of Japanese and Danish culture! With family and friends who traveled from all over the world, the joy, love and light was present the entire day. It started out in Yuki’s gorgeous family home in Hamilton with a backyard ceremony and ended with pizza and tots and a crazy cool DJ. But, let’s not forget about the lobster, hilarious speeches and hours of music and dancing! I am so happy I got to be a small part of this lovely day.

Mike and Maddy

Mike and Maddy got married in a beautiful church in Seattle and held their reception at the rustic Snohomish event center. Surrounded by family and friends the day was filled with lots of amazing food, laughter and love! These two are absolutely beautiful people with hearts of gold. So glad to work with you both.

Carolyn and Jon are two adventurous people whom I am so happy to have worked with. They met in the classroom and had an instant connection; it really was love at first sight! Both working in fields where they are teaching others, Jon is a very well-known math professor and Carolyn guides others to healthier lives. These two have traveled all over the world together and their journey has only just begun! Their dreamy and intimate backyard wedding in Olympia was the perfect mix of beauty, love and simplicity. What a lovely evening to solidify the bond between two people.

Alex and Courtney

Alex and Courtney are one of those couples who radiate love and passion into the world with their huge hearts, smiles, and love for one another. Upon meeting them it felt like we had been friends forever and were simply on a fun double date. Alex and Courtney decided to do their engagement shoot at the place where it all began, Satchels Pizza in Gainesville, FL (their first date!) Although only together for a year, Alex said he knew immediately that she was the one. Love pours through every single shot I took and I cannot wait to photograph their wedding in December!

Elise and Wayne

Elise and Wayne got married on March the 28th on a beautiful NYC day. All the way from Australia, this couple traveled far for love. Elise and Wayne met about three years ago; Elise traveled to Australia from China to attend university and build a better future. Elise spent the day telling me about her family history, and how special this day would be not only for her, but for the entire family. Although I don't speak Chinese, this family made sure I knew I was appreciated; the warmth was truly unreal. I could feel the gratitude this family had for being together and it made for an amazing day and plenty of family portraits.

We met at the marriage bureau and from there on visited several parks and enjoyed the NYC architecture. The evening ended in Brooklyn where I got to document a beautiful, traditional Chinese tea ceremony.

This day was something really special and I'm so happy I got to be a part of it.
