Garrett and Ali

Ali and Garrett celebrated their commitment to each other with a winter wedding at Noah’s Event Venue in Cranberry, PA. Once we met Ali and her incredible tribe of wonderful women we knew it was going to be an amazing day. Garrett’s team was equally as amazing as I think we spent more time laughing than photographing during the groomsmen shots! So, if you don’t know this, I LOVE SNOW and have been dreaming about photographing a wedding in the snow and it HAPPENED. I’m so glad it did with Ali and Garrett as they totally loved it and smiled through all of our time spent in it. I can’t write about this wedding without mentioning the AMAZING COOKIE TABLE. What an amazing merriment of love that I am grateful to have been able to be a part of.

Chelsea and Clint

Chelsea and Clint are two hard working Georgia natives! We did their engagement shoot at the gorgeous Millennium Gate museum in Atlanta. Looking forward to their big day in May!

Adam and Cathleen

Adam and Cathleen had a private wedding ceremony yet still wanted to have a bigger celebration with their friends and family. Their reception was at Ruth Chris Steak House in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Due to awful weather we didn't get to go outside for any of the pictures but we still managed to get some great shots inside of the restaurant! These two were all smiles all day and surrounded by so much love!

Richard and Becca

Richard and Becca are a young and energetic couple living in Richmond. We did their engagement on a rainy fall day at their parent’s gorgeous property in Winchester which will also serve as their venue this summer. Looking forward to their big day!

Kaitlin and Christopher

Michael and I met Kaitlin and Chris at a different wedding earlier in the year and IMMEDIATELY clicked with them. We caught ourselves laughing with these two every time we had a minute of downtime so when they asked us to photograph their day, we were eager to say yes. These two have been together for a while and both enjoy geeking out over the same things. They had a fall wedding at the Fort Belvoir community center. To say their day was sweet is an understatement, as they literally had more candy and treats than any other wedding we’ve worked at in the past! I’m so happy we got to be a part of their day AND to have gained new friends.

Sarah and Michael

Sarah and Mike had a cozy and dazzling fall wedding at the Bear Mountain Inn in New York.Sarah and I know each other from undergrad and although we were bad at keeping in touch, I absolutely loved watching her and Mikes relationship blossom via social media. So naturally when she asked me to document her day, I freaked out a little! These two work out together, enjoy nature together and have the most adorable Pitbull, Boxer, Hound mix. Both love tattoos and are PERFECT for each other. I don’t think I have to say much else about their day, just look at their stunning photos!

Andy and Patrick

We met Andy and Patrick last fall for their engagement session. They welcomed us into their home and cooked us a wonderful meal and the entire day felt like we were with family. They are creative, driven and radiate love.

They got married at the National Aviary in Pittsburgh with all of their family, friends and a few penguins present. The entire day was absolutely bright and beautiful

Cameron and Alyssa

Cameron and Alyssa self-officiated their wedding in DC at the historic Darlington House. The day started in their cute apartment with their awesome cat and from there, we walked to all of their favorite spots in the city! These two world travelers had an intimate, timeless celebration and as always, I’m so happy I got the capture it.

Ashley and Jack

Ashley and Jack had a wonderful DC wedding at the striking American Institute of Architects. We started with a first look and then got onto the party bus to get to DC’s staple locations for wedding party shots! Their day was all about friendship, family, art and epic dance moments.

Mike and Sara

I met Mike and Sara last fall for their engagement session and quickly found out how fun their wedding was going to be. They got married at the STUNNING WeatherLea Farm & Vineyard in Lovettsville, Virginia. From their gorgeous getting ready moments to their first look and first dance, this day was full of love and beauty that I was blessed to capture.

Danielle and Ryan

As Danielle would say, Danielle and Ryan “met in true millennial fashion”. After spending hours and hours on the phone they met in person and immediately clicked during their seven-hour date. Soon they began going to church together and now they are married! Photographing these two felt very special. You can see their love in every photograph.

Gabby and Justin

Gabby and Justin met in law school and have been together ever since! These two self-officiated their elopement in Europe and decided to have a celebration with family and friends afterwards, here in DC. We starting in the middle of the city and shot all around the monuments. The night ended with delicious Turkish food and lots of friends and love! So happy I got to be a part of this beautiful and simple nontraditional merriment of unity.

Cecilia and Nathan

Cecilia and Nathan tied the knot at Bay Area Community church in Annapolis and celebrated at the gorgeous Baldwin Hall in Millersville, Maryland. Cecilia is a teacher and Nathan is a chemist and I’d say these two smarties were made for each other! Heartfelt toasts, wonderful food, and fantastic dancing were just a few parts of this glorious day. So delighted I got to be their photographer!

Christie and Josh

Christie and Josh had a beautiful summer wedding in Luray, Virginia. Surrounded by all of their loved ones, these two tied the knot with a beautiful ceremony and celebrated at Faithbrooke Barn and Vineyards. Sunflower fields, a gorgeous sunset and so much LOVE in one day. So happy I got to be a part of it.

Giles and Kayleigh

When my college roommate and best friend asked me to second shoot her brother’s wedding with her in the British Virgin Islands, I was in disbelief. We had been talking about me coming to visit for the whole eight years we’ve known each other but just hadn’t been able to make it happen. And now, it WAS HAPPENING. Julia owns her own photography business called Caribbean Jules Photography in Road Town!

Giles and Kayleigh have been together for a decade and are both just as laid back as the island they live on. They had an intimate and beautiful ceremony on the beach with their closest family members and friends followed by an absolutely stunning larger reception the next day. People flew in from around the world to celebrate these two and their love. I am so thankful for this experience.

If you are looking to have a destination wedding in the BVI I certainly suggest working with Caribbean Jules Photography! View more of her work here http://www.caribbeanjulesphotography.com/
